Welcome!

We started out in 1982 with a vision to be our area's leading automotive facility for sales and repairs. Today, we are well on our way. With 5 locations in beautiful Charlottesville, we are dedicated to the same procedures and ideals that we were back then. A small business attitude with one clear motto: “You’ll Love the Service.”

The Brown Automotive Group, located 10 miles down the road from the University of Virginia, has been locally owned and operated for over 25 years. With over 250 employees, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service. 

Sales & Service

 We represent some of the top manufacturers in the world and have hundreds of New & Pre-Owned vehicles on-site. While choosing your new vehicle will always be an exciting & straightforward experience at Brown, when its time, we make servicing your vehicle just as easy. With state-of-the-art service facilities, each location serves as a one-stop repair and maintenance shop. We also offer a wide range of amenities for you to enjoy while you wait for servicing, including wi-fi internet access and a coffee café. In addition, our shuttle van provides courtesy transportation to local area destinations for all Brown customers. We are very excited about our newest addition for ’09, a 22,000ft. collision facility, specializing in collision repair & paint correction. 

Community & Caring

Though we pride ourselves on serving our customers, perhaps our greatest pride is our commitment to serving our community. When buying a vehicle from Brown Automotive, you can drive knowing that you have had a part in giving back to those who need you. At Brown, a portion of the proceeds from every New & Pre-Owned vehicle sold goes to charity. We work with dozens of deserving non-profit organizations who need and count on community support and assistance.
