Honda Recall: Steps To Take If Your Vehicle Is Involved

Honda has recently announced a recall on certain 2000 and 2001 Odysseys, CRV’s, Accords and Civics regarding airbag deployment.  Honda has a specific repair solution for the issue and they will start notifying customers who may be involved on February 25^th.  On that date, Honda will alert us of the affected vehicles by downloading specific vehicle data into our computer system.  If you don’t receive a notice and you would like to check to see if your vehicle is part of this recall you may call our service department at 434-973-1351 or you can email our service manager Jackie at jgits@brownautos.com. 

In addition to the above stated recall, Honda has also announced a recall on certain 07 and 08 Fits.  As of today, they have not announced a repair solution.  As soon as they inform us of the proper measures to take, we will begin to schedule customer appointments and will post additional information on this site.  Honda.com is also a valuable resource for further information.
